From 2012 – 2014 farmers and artists have participated in 13 artist on farm or ‘TWIG’ residencies, initiated by ACRE team.
Multi-artform artists, Trevor Flinn, Robbie Rowlands, John Britten, Dave Houston, Carrie McGrath and Fred Fowler have travelled from across the state to work alongside Mallee farmers, to create, make and learn from each other in a program like no other.
“The project reflects that in a farmer’s day to day life they are creative by necessity. There’s a great deal of similarities between the two professionals. We’ve had some extraordinary community engagements as a result.”
